CONTRACT LOGISTICS

Contract Logistics as a Comprehensive Logistics Service

Contract logistics is a form of outsourcing in which a client entrusts us with part or all of its logistics processes. In practice, this means that, as a logistics operator, we take over the day-to-day handling of goods—from receiving and warehousing, through inventory management, to order fulfillment, transportation, distribution, and returns processing.

As part of contract logistics, we provide the following services, among others:

  • warehousing of goods
  • transportation and distribution of goods
  • packaging and order fulfillment
  • inventory management
  • returns processing

This comprehensive logistics service allows the client to reduce the number of internally managed processes and focus on sales, the product, and business development. We are responsible for the operational infrastructure, warehouse organization, the flow of goods, and preparing them for further distribution. As a result, logistics becomes a well-organized part of the company’s operations, rather than an area requiring constant, time-consuming coordination on the client’s part.

A Logistics Company for Importers, Manufacturers, and Distributors

As a logistics company, we serve businesses that need a reliable partner to manage their warehousing, distribution, and operational processes. The scope of our collaboration can range from a single area to comprehensive logistics services tailored to the client’s business model.

This solution is designed for importers, manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, and trading companies that want to streamline their supply chain operations. Instead of coordinating warehousing, order fulfillment, transportation, returns, and additional services separately, the customer can entrust these processes to a single partner. This facilitates control over inventory, streamlines information flow, and allows for a faster response to seasonality, promotions, changes in demand, and customer needs.

Logistics Services and Logistics Outsourcing

Outsourcing logistics services allows you to transfer selected operational tasks to a specialized partner that has the appropriate warehouse facilities, systems, team, and experience. As part of our collaboration, we can handle receiving shipments, warehousing, inventory control, product batch management, order fulfillment, shipment preparation, distribution, and returns.

Our logistics services are designed to support daily sales and ensure continuity of supply. The client does not need to expand their warehouse, hire additional staff, or build their own distribution infrastructure. They receive a scalable service model that can be tailored to the number of SKUs, sales volume, seasonality, customer requirements, and product specifics.

Logistics Provider in the Third-Party Logistics Model

Contract logistics is closely related to the third-party logistics (3PL) model. In this model, an external logistics provider takes over the management of processes that may previously have been handled directly by the client’s company. This can include both basic warehousing and the entire flow of goods: from receiving deliveries, through order fulfillment and packaging, to transportation and distribution to customers.

The third-party logistics model works well when a company wants to retain control over sales and the product but does not want to maintain the entire operational infrastructure on its own. By partnering with a logistics provider, a company can scale its operations more quickly, streamline processes, and transfer some of the responsibility for day-to-day goods handling to a partner specializing in business logistics.

Business Logistics with VAS Services

Business logistics increasingly encompasses not only warehousing and distribution, but also the preparation of products for sale, promotion, or display. As part of our value-added services, we perform activities that enhance the commercial value of goods and prepare them for further distribution.

As part of our additional service

  • we label — we apply product labels, Polish descriptions, and EAN codes
  • we apply tax bands — we affix our own or client-provided tax bands to individual packages, such as cans, bottles, or kegs
  • we mix — we assemble mixed product sets of various sizes
  • we repackage — we change the size of sales units and create multipacks
  • we set up displays — we arrange goods on display stands

These activities represent a natural extension of contract logistics and are described in greater detail in the “We Add Value – VAS” section. Thanks to them, goods can be prepared for sale while still in the warehouse. For the client, this means less work for their own team, a shorter time to market, and greater control over the form in which the product reaches consumers.

A logistics operator specializing in wine and alcohol supply chains

What sets us apart from other logistics companies in Poland is our specialization in managing wine and alcohol supply chains, as well as our ability to integrate multiple processes into a single collaboration model. In this industry, not only warehousing and distribution are of particular importance, but also batch control, monitoring of expiration dates, proper storage conditions, documentation, tax stamping, kit preparation, and efficient delivery execution.

Thanks to our experience in handling these types of products, we can provide comprehensive logistics services tailored to the needs of importers, manufacturers, and distributors. Goods can be received into the warehouse, inventoried, prepared in accordance with sales requirements, picked, and transferred for further distribution—all as part of a single process. This solution is designed for companies that need not only warehouse space but also a partner who understands the specific nature of their products and the entire supply chain.
